IPHAR includes an R&D center specializing in development, preclinical and clinical trials of new drugs in accordance with international quality standards GLP, GCP and GMP, accredited as a Collective Use Center of «Skolkovo» Technopark.

- Drug pharmaceutical development: development of production technology of substances and dosage forms, quality control methods, standard specifications, registration dossier
- Preclinical studies of drugs (in vitro and in vivo specific activity, general toxicity, specific toxicity, pharmacokinetics)
- Clinical trials of drugs (compiling documents for obtaining clinical trial permission, conducting clinical trials of bioequivalence and therapeutic equivalence of generic drugs, Phase I, II, III clinical trials of new drugs)
